This is another game which I'm seriously considering to buy. 
It looks very interesting but I'm a bit afraid that it doesn't attract my attention enough because you can't build your own ships out of ship modules (for example like in spore, in the vehicle creator).
Nevertheless it looks very nice graphically and sounds seem to be very good too. Also I like the customization aspect of the game. It's just that people have told that it doesn't have a campaign so it feels a bit like sins of a solar empire... Just some random missions which you play. 
So the point, the goal to play the game is mission. (Besides playing some skirmish matches.)
Alas if there just was a torrent at the beta so I could test it right away, like with Captain Forever. :[ But no... Or even a demo...
Oh well, gotta wait and see and add this game to the list of games I'm thinking to buy.
