Alright, heregoes...
When I was first accepted into the clan as "Hyper Penguin" I played with you all for about a month before boycotting Empires altogether. I have not posted on the forums in ages, nor played in a scrim, or anything else like that... I was pretty much fresh out of the recruitment tent when I left the game. Since then, I had been cursing the game under my breath for a few months. Then, the moment I had been waiting for was upon us. Empires 2.2
I was enthralled and I had so yearned to play the game again, it was a very nice change from playing free flash games and other such games that held no real place in my heart. I had begun to look back on my days of Empires with nostalgia, then remembering that they had lied about the release date or somethingoranother and then said screw the whole thing. But, 2.2 is here now and I could contain myself no longer. For the past few days, I've been playing under the name :][CW][:Penguin (Of course spelled with my signature crazy letters). I find the new changes to the game much more fun and the fact that there is a mod that allows you to hijack vehicles brings no end to my joy. I can't get enough of the game and I find it just as easy as it was before. I can still finish a round with a rough 5:2 KD ratio, but commanding is a little harder as my computer no longer recognizes the f2 key... but now I get to the point.
I was wondering, and this is a stretch I know, if you all would be willing to take me back. It was wrong of me to leave without telling you all and even more so to simply stop posting. I can only hope that you can find it in your large collective heart to allow me back into your ever so amazing clan. And if that doesn't work, I have a suggestion. Instead of coming back as a full member, I could just post in the recruitment and hope to be accepted and put on the little probation period you all have.
