So, Yeah. I'm getting one of those newfangled dual core thingies, and a new gfx card.
Maybe now I'll be able to play empires at an acceptable framerate!

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ Brisbane 2.9GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 65W Dual-Core Processor
So, yeah, should do a bit better than my 1.9ghz single core and my 7300gt did.
